Head of Marketing and Communications & Consultant

Naz is the head of marketing and communications at Löning, where she leads our communications, marketing and thought leadership efforts. Alongside this role, she works as a management consultant and sustainability communications lead, leading and supporting multi-stakeholder projects and programmes across EMEA and APAC.

At Löning, Naz works across human rights impact assessments and due diligence processes, as well as the design and delivery of capacity-building programmes. Her work also spans sustainability communications and reporting, where she supports companies in translating complex regulatory and human rights requirements into narratives and practical action.

Before joining Löning, Naz worked at UN Women as a programme lead and private sector partnerships advisor, where she led the national chapter of a global flagship initiative in collaboration with brands, businesses, creatives and academia. During this time, she co-designed and led an award-winning social impact campaign addressing gender-based violence. She also contributed to the UN system as a coordination specialist, supporting cross-agency collaboration to integrate gender equality across policies and programmes.

Earlier in her career, Naz worked as a project management consultant on EU-funded development and technical assistance programmes, supporting international and intergovernmental organisations on human rights-focused projects, particularly in the areas of international migration and gender equality.

Naz holds an M.A. in European Political Economy from King’s College London and a B.A. in International Relations from Bilkent University.

She speaks English, Turkish, and French, and has developing working proficiency in German.
