Mariana Rezende is a managing consultant at Löning. 

Mariana advises multinational companies on strengthening their human rights due diligence systems, with a particular focus on forced labour and other high-severity risks. As the lead of Löning’s enhanced due diligence (EDD) workstream, she developed the firm’s EDD service offering, contributing to new client acquisition and the expansion of strategic partnerships.

In her role as managing consultant, Mariana brings together legal expertise and practical methodology design, integrating technological tools and human insight to deliver pragmatic, data-informed solutions for clients while ensuring firm-wide methodological consistency and strategic alignment.

Mariana is a qualified lawyer and holds a Master’s in Constitutional Law.

She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and conversational in German.
