Clara is an associate consultant at Löning.

Clara is interested in shifting the focus of human rights protection to the private sector and highlighting the powerful role corporate entities can play in the fulfilment of universal human rights.

Before joining Löning, Clara gained experience in asylum law in Hong Kong and worked in compliance and legal roles in the technology sector in Germany. Given her legal background, Clara is well-versed in the current regulatory developments on the national, EU, and international level pertaining to business and human rights.

Clara holds an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Hong Kong and a BA in Social Sciences with a focus on public international law and social psychology from University College Utrecht.

Clara is fluent in German and English.
