Team Löning member and German Chancellor Fellow Mariana Rezende Oliveira co-authored an article on the possible impacts of the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG) on Brazilian companies.
The article was published in Conjur, a leading law and justice outlet with millions of readers in Portuguese-speaking countries. Together with her co-author Brazilian lawyer Mariana Avelar, they argue that companies not directly covered by the LkSG will also be affected as the legal obligations unfold along value chains. These effects will be felt by Brazilian companies that have business relationships with German enterprises, even indirect ones.
