Serra Cremer is the founder and director of Löning Academy. Trained as a corporate lawyer with a professional background in M&A and project finance, Serra has moved to the field of business and human rights after spending seven years in corporate legal advisory and executive coaching. Since 2014, she has delivered over 3,200+ hours of training on professional communication skills, corporate social responsibility, human rights and constitutional rights to corporate professionals in multinational organisations such as Bristol Myers Squibb, Deloitte, ING Bank, PwC, and Vodafone as well as to law students at a private university.
Prior to joining Löning, she worked as a corporate lawyer, an adjunct professor of U.S. law and as the managing director of a global business communications consultancy. She has conducted human rights field work in Ghana, Israel, Palestine and Turkey. Serra is also a consultant at University of Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights, where her research focuses on the extractives sector.
Serra is a member of the New York Bar Association and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a double major Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from New York University.
