Head of Consulting

Theresa Quiachon is the head of consulting and leads human rights due diligence projects with clients from diverse sectors.

She is an expert in strategic consulting, stakeholder engagement, and qualitative research. Her work for corporate clients and NGOs includes the assessment of human rights risks and the set-up of corresponding due diligence processes, including the development of policies, sector-specific measures, and capacity building. Additionally, Theresa is involved in the creation of many of our publications, where she brings in her qualitative research skills to produce studies and webinars on the topic of business and human rights and authors briefing papers.

Theresa holds a M.A. in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin. Her thesis focused on human rights monitoring and measurement processes in business. This unique expertise in anthropology enables Theresa to identify and incorporate the different societal and cultural factors when assessing human rights risks in value chains and in stakeholder dialogues. Theresa also has long-standing experience in corporate practice, primarily in the textiles sector where she is qualified as Bachelor Professional (CCI) of Trade and Commerce in retail.

Theresa is fluent in German and English.
