Lavanya Pai is a consultant at Löning.
She is interested in issues pertaining to freedom of association, women and migrant worker experiences, modern slavery and rights of indigenous and local communities.
Prior to joining Löning, Lavanya worked as a sustainability analyst at EcoVadis where she gained insights in a range of sectors and geographical regions through her assessment of companies’ sustainability management systems. She has further expertise through her work at Nexio Projects, a sustainability consulting company, and Sustify, an organisation that has developed an e-learning platform to embed sustainability in the manufacturing sector.
She holds an MA in International Development, Human Rights and Global Economy, and a BA in Social Sciences and Europe-Asia relations from Sciences Po Paris.
Originally from Bangalore, India, Lavanya has lived in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.
She speaks English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and some French.
