Lisa Szeponik

Director of Organisational Development

Lisa Szeponik is the director of organisational development at Löning and an expert in stakeholder and rights-holder engagement.

She is part of the management team and also works as a senior consultant for our clients. Since she joined the team in 2015, Lisa has led numerous human rights due diligence projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, such as international food and beverage retailers, consumer goods brands, and non-profit organisations including UNICEF and WWF Germany.

Lisa’s extensive experience in developing effective tools for engaging stakeholders with different views and interests is especially valuable in her work. She empowers internal teams, such as corporate responsibility, procurement, and human resources departments, to make a positive impact on people by adopting a human rights-based approach to their own activities.  At the same time, Lisa brings in perspectives from rights-holders and their representatives to foster change in business conduct.

Lisa is trained in Theme-Centered Interaction (TCI) and holds a B.A. in Latin American Regional Studies with a focus on political science. Prior to Löning, Lisa established Young Leaders for Sustainability, a cross-sectoral leadership program for young professionals who promote community-oriented change in their organisations and companies. She also was the co-founder of Happy Works, a consultancy for shaping the working world of the future.

Lisa is a native speaker of German and fluent in English and Spanish.
